Weapons

The game provides the player with many types of weapons; these are: crowbar, knife, pistol, shotgun, revolver, rifle, thompson and power weapon. While some are used for sneak attacks, others will, while more lethal, attract the enemies to the player.

During the Air-Filled Tunnels misison, Jack will get captured and his weapons will be taken from him, but those can be found in the prison near the food for the Star Spawn of Cthulhu.

Crowbar

This is a weaker form of a stealth weapon and the first to be found in the game.

Locations:

• near the door behind the jailhouse (Jailhouse)
• sleeping quarters on Urania (Dangerous Voyage)

Knife

A stronger form of a stealth weapon and much more precise.

Locations:

• on the meeting table of the Order (The Esoteric Order of Dagon)
• on the table of Robert Marsh (Air-Filled Tunnels)

Pistol

Weakest of all the firearm, altough the ammo for it is the easiest to find. This is the only firearm that requires two headshots to kill an enemy. It is useful when fighting enemies which are further away from the player.

Locations:

• jailhouse locker (Jailhouse)
• given to the player at the start of: The Marsh Refinery, The Esoteric Order of Dagon
• Urania armory (Dangerous Voyage)

Shotgun

Mid-tier weapon. Easy to find. Very useful in close combat.

Locations:

• jailhouse locker (Jailhouse)
• reception room (Marsh Refinery)
• workroom in the Marsh Refinery (Marsh Refinery)
• workroom in the Esoteric Order (The Esoteric Order of Dagon)
• Urania armory (Dangerous Voyage)

Rifle

Mid-tier weapon. Most useful when fighting far away enemies but also useful in close combat.

Locations:

• reception room, behind the door (Marsh Refinery)
• prison cells (The Esoteric Order of Dagon)
• on the deck of the ship (Dangerous Voyage)

Revolver

High-tier weapon. Usefuly in both types of combat.

Locations:

• near the fishing net (Escape from Innsmouth)
• workroom in the Marsh Refinery (Marsh Refinery)
• captain's room (Dangerous Voyage)

Thompson

High-tier weapon. While not precise like the rest, it can be useful when fighting a large amount of enemies.

Locations:

• icey storage in the fishing cannery (Escape from Innsmouth)
• at the top of the stairs near the grinding machine (Marsh Refinery)
• armory near the captain's room (Dangerous Voyage)

Yithian Power Weapon

Arguably the strongest weapon in the game. No need to reload it. Not very precise, but lethal in close combat.

Locations:

• at the top of the waterfall (Air-Filled Tunnels)
